Students graduating from Utah State with a masters in Bioregional Planning are highly sought for their interdisciplinary experience and skill in addressing copmlex environmental issues. Employment opportunities exist in both the private and public sectors. Graduates are competitive for positions in local, state, and regional planning, as well as private sector consulting agencies. Additional employment opportunities exist with county, state, and federal land management agencies like the National Park Service, the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Program skills are also valuable to state and federal regulatory agencies like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
